I have to say I wouldn't. As put by someone else, it depends on the factors that it takes the seller to get the item to you, such as wrapping or getting to the post office.
I have to get to the next town for my nearest post office with costs £1.10 or £1.80 if I take the bus or train.
And surely two phone chargers and a booster (what ever that it?) would weigh more than a 2nd class stamp?
I remember when this was just a little website! :money:

This thread has to be a wind up!! I started a thread ages ago on P+P there are two schools of thought.

    1. Its the all in price that matters.

    2. Its fee avoidance and ripping off the buyer.

At the end of the day all is clear here and personally I would be more than happy to deal on the sellers terms. If the guy is making a few extra pennies out of the EBay monolith good for him. As someone pointed out its not as if he is charging £30. P+P is not just the cost of the stamp. His fees/costs will be more than the 99p he is selling the item for give him a break!

If you don't like it don't buy it

yep agree completely,as long as the postage is made clear in the listing the buyer has all the facts and its then up to them if they are happy to buy.

I've mentioned this in a previous thread but I wouldn't buy goods from someone charging 1p on BIN with inflated postage.
Not because of the fees avoidance (fair play Ebay is too greedy) but because youre legal standing if the goods turn out to be faulty.
The seller is only obliged to refund the cost paid not the postage.
Unscrupulous sellers can purposely palm off faulty goods this way.

    Bear that in mind.

Lets take an ink cartridge. Theres a powerseller selling them auction format starting at 1p. I doubt he'll get anymore than that as he has an auction running every 10 mins. His P+P is 4.95 each item No reduction for multiple items so total cost is £4.96.
His listing fee is 15p +15p for photo. Final value fee is 5% . All ebay are losing is maybe 10p final value fee. No big deal to them. His volume keeps them happy. The buyer is happy as they "Win" an inkjet cartridge for 1p plus the stated P+P.
If they dont like it they can buy one for 99p +£1.50 P+P and save money overall.
IMO most of these reports of inflated postage and fee avoidance are from competitors of a particular seller.
EBAY dont care -They make money anyway.

    whats the problem?

Loads of people are always complaining that EBAY is ripping them off and not giving the quality of service that they deserve.

Someone decides to get back at ebay by hitting it were it hurts, financially, by taking advantage of the system thats in place and putting the costs on postage rather than in the auction.

If you are getting a bargain either way then what really is the issue??
