Why can't you make the soup before Saturday? It doesn't take long. You could get the ingredients you need tomorrow and do it in the evening.
I haven't bogged off yet, and I ain't no babe

I'd freeze it now and refreeze after you've made the soup.. it'll be fine.
I wouldn't keep it in the fridge.. one of the children would knock it over and it would be wasted!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

Yes it will keep in the fridge. (And if you have clumsy kids just make sure that it's in a sealed container
)
Then yes, once you've made your soup that can be frozen either in one lot or as individual portions. The cut off bottomsd of those two litre milk containers are ideal for this - my freezer is full of them.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there.
