Hi guys,
Any ideas why I've been having problems posting a thread on here? Everytime I typed in any text I get the error message telling me to type in at least 10 characters. There was a lot more!
I wondered if it was an Explorer problem. I also see that my Windows XP is SP1 not 2, but having problems downloading from Microsoft.

I have no idea what causes this but I had that happen on my last PC just before Christmas. I wondered if it was an IE problem as I could read the pages just fine but not post, even tho I was logged in, and got the same error message. I tried all kinds of fixes but nothing worked. In the end I gave up until I got my new PC and its all fine now ( btw my OS on previous PC was Win98SE ) So if any techie folks can come up with an explanation for this then I'd also be grateful !" Forget your forum problem, get SP2 sorted first.

Hi,
I've managed to get SP3 (SP2 failed to install after many downloads). Have also got I.Explorer 7, and now seem to have cured that.
I still seem to get a lot of invalid certificate pop-ups, which I have tried to disable in IE options, but still happening.
There are other problems, but I'm going to post those in a separate thread. Thanks for your help. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

I had this. Go to 'edit options' in your profile, and switch off the advance / wysiswig setting - change it to Standard instead, and it will work.0

Sorry to drag up an old thread but I just wanted to thank Marky very much for this advice. I have had increasing problems with posting and have not been able to post for over a week until I tried this.0
