Please can anyone point me in the direction of a simple and straightforward way to get my camcordering onto a DVD that we can watch on the TV.
I have a sony camcorder, and record onto the smaller tapes. I have a firewire (I think) and want to be able to transfer holiday tape to a DVD. I will only need to do simple edit functions such as chopping out great chunks of tape where I will have left it on accidentally etc!
TIA

Windows movie maker should have all the features you need, just plug the camcorder in, import the movie, simple0

Please help!
I have used Windows Movie Maker as suggested, but then it only gives me options to save as a CD, not onto DVD. I have tried saving to various media (DVD +r, DVD -R, recordable CD) but cant get anything to play on either of my DVD players.
Please help cos Im getting desperate!!
