hi all could you help me, there was somethink on my mouse pad so i licked it to clean it but my arrow now has a mind ok its own pleas help

is the mouse pad dry? is there any residue etc left over? if so wipe it off, and make sure it is dry0

licked it clean? the average desk with keyboard mouse & mat harbour more germs than some public toilets!
It is probably better to wipe it with a damp kitchen towel or similar. A smear of 'cleaning fluid' has probably dried out causing the light beam of the mouse to reflect incorrectly which causes the arrow to move about .Nudge nudge, Wink wink, Say No More!0 -

What kind of mouse do you have?
I tell you what, i finally bought a laser mouse several months back and it was the best thing i ever did. No need for a mouse pad and also it's really fast and far more responsive compared to how my tracker-ball one used to be.Instigated terrorism the road to dictatorship.0 -
