I dont know how many of you people saw last nights about 10-2ish
there was this pic of like 5 dices with the dots on

and we all know that the dots on 5 dices add up to 105
cause the 3 oppisite sides add up to 7 eg. 1+6 = 7,2+5 = 7, 3+4 = 7

so there for 5 x (7x3) = 105 (well did when i went to school

but the guy on the TV said the answer is between the numbers of 80 and 100

so ok maybe it the showing dots :rolleyes:

NO the showing dots added up to 52 AGAIN not bettween 80 - 100

the strangest thing was the answer

GOD ONLY KNOW HOW BUT IT WAS 91 i mean !!!!!! :mad:

id love someone to try and explain this one to me please

how can tv company get away with conning people like this the telephone number is like a £1 a min also and there was loads of people rang in
it does my head in how there got that

come on now all u super cleaver people out there explain this one

No idea, I agree with your analysis glenn. Its like the channel on Sky (and no I am not talking of Bikini Beach) that has things like 'count the vowels', 'count the rings', 'add up all the numbers' ... I have absolutaly no idea what rules they are playing by.

The answer is.

The above was a question on Sky Mix, calls were charged at 60p per min.
At the end of the show they gave us the answer they were looking for.7930
But they never told us how they worked it out.
Can some bright member please tell me how they did it?

You will find two threads on there where several (very brainy) people have tried to work through a solution to these puzzles, using all sorts of logic, they still haven't be able to give an explanation to the answers given on this quiz channel. The general conclusion is that some times it's just a random number thought up by the producer! There are also dark mutterings about it all being a scam.

i haev NO IDEA i have sat for 30mins trying to work this one out

used BOMAS (bracket/over/multiply/add/subtract) and this doesnt work either

tried moving the numebr and x,/,+,- around and still cant get it

im guessing tho that its something like in reverse 7930/10 = 793 but then i cant get anywhere from 793 down lower using x,+,-
but if anyone can get 793 without using the x and the 10 then its that x10
but its impossible to get that high without using the X
so to conclude
i have no bloody idea lol
althou ill still try working it out when bored stupid

No idea .. but 'add all the numbers' has many meanings ... I think you have to consider roman numerals so 'I' means 1, 'L' means 50 etc. There are other little quirks in there as well ... does anybody know how Klingons record numbers
