Did you move in on 24th August or is that just some random date the company decided to charge you from? did you take a reading when you moved in & give them that as your starting point?Winnings

Electric heaters and immersion tank!!!Always a nightmare. Why do you need the heaters on for 10 hours if you are only in the property for 12-14 hours?I would suggest wearing a cardi and bed socks to keep warm. Also look into the state of the property,is it damp or not insulated, this would obviously make it much more expensive to heat.If there is a propblem the landlord has to fix it.
Ask the landlord to have the emmersion heater checked,if its not working properly it not only could be costing more to run but be very very dangerous too."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
yes maybe a bit irrelevant but my gas and electric together wasnt even half what that person was charged for electric..that amount is horrendous?!!...are you sure they arent trying to charge you for a previous tenants debt?0
