The success story continues into 2008 as Abbey Home Media announces a 28th January release date for another unmissable Spot DVD compilation: Spot Goes to the Carnival and other Musical Adventures.
Created by the BAFTA award-winning King Rollo Films (Maisy, Mr Benn, Wide Eye), this delightful release follows Spot on a series of fun-filled frolics.

It’s carnival day and there are lots of adventures in store! Spot arrives at his grandparent’s house and before they can leave, his friends stop by and are invited to join in on the fun. Grandma bakes her tasty cookies for the outing and Grandpa keeps everyone entertained with stories about his days as a fireman. Then as a special treat, they all head over to the carnival on a real fire engine – the one Grandpa used to work with!

Once at the carnival, Spot and his friends find endless fun in all the activity and colour – there is even a troupe of performing stunt pigs!

It’s a perfect day – even better than Spot could have hoped for!

With an orchestrated song score and voice-overs from Paul Nicholas (Just Good Friends) and Tom Fletcher (of McFly fame), this colourful animated film gently focuses on the special relationship between children and their grandparents.

Also featured are eight five minute stand alone Musical Adventures narrated by Jane Horrocks (Absolutely Fabulous) and which include delightful sing-along songs: Spot’s Treehouse, Spot Makes Breakfast, Spot’s Horse, Spot’s Umbrella, Spot’s Band, Spot’s Bath, Spot Helps Grandma and Spot Plays Hide and Seek.
