Overnight accomodation near Stansted Airport???

Can anyone recommend a hotel near to Stansted Airport or discount codes for Days Inn hotel - the cheapest Ive found is £69 per room with laterooms.co.uk
Ive tried to get a deal with Travelodge but the closest hotel is 16 miles from the airport.
Thanks for your help

  • Try Days Inn - there is one at Stansted Services on the other side of the the M11 junction - should be more like Travelodge prices.

Theres a Holiday Inn, its got a free bus there and £2 back to the airport. Nice hotel, friendly staff and only a couple of minutes away. Theres a BP garage right beside it too that does hot baguettes, sandwiches, etc... so you dont have to pay the high food prices in the hotel.

£49 Travelodge Dunmow. Think you can go through Quidco or Pigsback too.

Glenn, many thanks for the tip! I have looked on Daysinn site and can't see anything re refunding if cheaper elsewhere. Sorry to be a pain in the &*%$ but can you help there? Please.

They are quite close to Stansted (15mins by car) and reasonable price too. I drive past the (new) hotel on my way to work at Stansted. they never seem very busy!
`Save a little money each month, and at the end of the year, you'll be suprised at how little you have.
