child tax fund - which bank to invest with

I just recieved the child tax fund of £250 which you supposed to open a bank account or invest it till child turns 16, which is the best bank to invest with ??hope theres others that know about this and will be able to advise me which bank is best. thanks for reading and replying.

I wouldnt go with any of the banks to invest it. The better investment options tend to come from Childrens Mutual or F&C.

Banks are rarely the best place to buy any investment product.

.....is the Foreign & Colonial 'micro site' for their CTF, it also contains details of some of the other Investment Co's who offer CTF (in order to show how much 'better' their offering is....but useful anyway)

The F&C Shares account is the one that seems most interesting because of the reasonable range of funds it can invest in.
