E:15/02 One of Four Blankets from LUMA Worth £125 each

http://www.thimagazine.com/competition3.htm

WIN One of Four Blankets from LUMA Worth £125 each Driven by a love of textiles that sat uneasily with the industry’s legacy of environmental damage and terrible working conditions, LUMA was created in 2006 to provide beautiful home textiles, made in a better way.
Fabrics are luxurious organic cottons, environmentally-friendly linens and silks, and pure wools, including pashmina, merino and angora. Bedlinens are naturally coloured organic cottons or gently oxygen-bleached. Any dyes used in the accessories are either vegetable or low-impact dyes.
All LUMA products are made with dignity and many are helping to change lives. Textiles is a very human industry; it supports millions of people across the world in many different ways. LUMA selected suppliers that not only produce wonderful quality products, but also have excellent ethical credentials. Its supplier in India is a fair trade partner with Oxfam and Greenpeace, and its Peruvian partner has also been a leader in promoting fair trade practices in Peru for over 20 years.
Bed linens, which are all certified 100% organic cotton, include combed pima cotton percale with mother of pearl buttons, and other high thread count percales and sateen in simple, classic designs. All bed linens carry the prestigious “EKO” symbol, showing that each stage in the production process has been subject to an independent inspection by the prestigious Dutch agency, Skal, to ensure that no dangerous chemicals have been used.
Cushions range from intricate hand-embroidery, to hand-quilted vintage fabrics, and hand-woven silks, linens and wool. Throws and blankets include pure organic cotton, organic alpaca, hand-spun and woven pure pashmina or merino wool, and a mixture of woven linens and silks. Many of the accessories are fair trade items, produced in remote rural areas that depend on traditional crafts, and have a label showing the name and village of the maker.
LUMA are kindly offering four lucky Traditional Homes & Interiors readers the chance to win a beautiful hand-woven, pure merino wool blanket in a colour choice of red or green. These beautiful blankets measuring 235 x 150 cm are made in a valley in Northern India where weaving is a thriving cottage industry; where a loom can be spotted in the front of almost every house.
To be in with a chance of winning, simply answer the following question, by filling in the form below.
Q: LUMA’s bedlinen’s carry which prestigious symbol that shows each production process?

If you click the continue to this website option it tells you it has been submitted. As its just a webpage to say its been submitted I assume it has already been submitted before the error comes up. If not just select the continue button to be sure.

  • Mine went through after I told Firefox to ignore (continue) when the certificate sign came up. Thanks OP.
