Just a note from a web developer, if you are going to be selling online/via a website. Google search rankings are influenced by the words in the domain name so if you think that your potential shoppers will search for 'buy handbag online' then you should register this as your domain name as it will have a higher google ranking than say your businessname.co.uk - this does not have to be your main address but you can redirect the traffic from this address to whichever main name you choose. If that makes sense.
Coincidentally - https://www.buyhandbagonline.co.uk is available.
My idea is:
HoldAll - because you hold all stock we could possibly want

Sorry I may be way of the mark, (but Im trying to win my woman a handbag).
(THIS STATEMENT IN NO WAY REPRESENTS YOUR BAGS)
I think the more jazzy a name you give (BAG-O-S*i*e) etc, yes it sticks in your mind but it makes your product sound cheap. I think that when women hear luxurious names, the more they believe the item is amazing and a must have item. Brands like Dior, DKNY and Prada etc all roll off the tongue so a use of both of your names could create a good name but in this case it would not be as memorable. (However as you are an internet company your shop name would not nececerally have to state you sell bags as that is what the advertising side is for. However if you have to pick a name with bags in it your better to avoid the cheap, tacky and catchy nonsense because at the end of the day you want to apeal to women who are demanding and only wish the best and the latest that all the celebs have. USE OLD WORDS LIKE - EMPORIUM. The Handbag Emporium (ensure to use handbag and not just bag as bag on its own doesnt sound as elegant. (No I dont work in advertising).:beer:0 -
