I've just been watching Gardener's World (yes I know I should get out more...
) abd they suggest using them as a slug and snail deterrant around tender plants.
Apparently they don't like the sharp uneven surfaces and the shells retain some of the salt and you know what that does to slugs :eek:Sealed Pot Challenge #8 £341.90
