Best CC?

I am off on a travelling Holiday in a few weeks (12) and rather than take cash i was planning on using a CC to pay my hotel bills upon checking out.

The quickly pay the card off upon my return - is this the best way and if so which is the best short term CC?

Most credit card charge a foreign handling fee 2-3% however Nationwide and PO don't.
Also make sure that the hotels don't do a currency conversion to sterling.. make sure they charge in local currency as then you get a better official exchange rate.

To withdraw cash of course use a debit card... again most charge foriegn currency fees except Nationwide (you will need to open a nationwide current a/c)

    enjoy the trip
