MUST clean the kitchen and tidy up the rest of the house. Also need to store my Boots bargains from yesterday- most of the year's presents!

  • Today:

I forgot my breakfast for work but had bread instead of paying for roll

I have posted my 'How much will you spend?' and am going to stick to it!!

I am going to do 40mins more of my 'back' spending spreadsheet this evening

I will do my clicks once I've cleared my cookies :):):)

And I am using up old moisurisers instead of buying new ones (what I'd normally do) as my skin is dry.

I am going to PM Jamtart and find out how to get £30 on piggypoints!!

  • Hello Everyone

I am new here and enjoying reading your posts.

Please could you tell me what clicks, piggie somethings and freecycle all mean?

I am very much aware of the Ebay site!!! Its great.

    But for me today:

I have brought my own lunch to work and snacks and drinks.

I drove slower to try and save my petrol as my trip to work is 40 miles there and back.

I drove right past Asda, avoiding the temptation to do in, so hopefully this will be a non spend day too!!

Thanks and look forward to hearing from you.

hi and welcome to the thread.
Freecycle is an organisation which matches unwanted goods from one person with another person who has need of them. It is all done for free, and keeps stuff from filling up landfills unnecessarily.
You can find out more here....
    http://uk.freecycle.org/

Pigsback is a website where you get points for clicking on highlighted offers or for buying stuff or signing up for stuff through the site. The amounts are small but soon add up - last year i had over £150 in boots vouchers from pigsback:D

    http://pigsback.co.uk/login.aspx

There are other sites that also do daily clicks, quidco, free fivers, etc. There is a thread somewhere with them all listed. Good for getting vouchers or cash in the long term for very little effort.

    Hope that helps.
    keep posting:D

    Hi,

Working from home today so my DFW things are:

Hoovered most of the house (and found DS missing clean socks I had put on the radiator but obviously fallen off).
    Changed some bedding.
Put on a washing at 30 deg and drying indoors, WM has been loaded up ready to put on tomorrow when it will be full.
Got rid of todays junk mail as house gets very easily cluttered.

Went to Tescos during my lunch:
    Used £2.20 in coupons
    Used 2 extra points vouchers
Got 2 till receipts with points added at customer services

Don't seem to have done much work though so if I am not working until the late hours tonight I'll do my piggy clicks.

Yesterday there seemed to be two threads - the other started by Mickeymouse I think which I posted on.
    Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
    Boots points: £0.28
    Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
    Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
    Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)
  • So far I have:
    • Had NSD- buying iPod Nano tonight but paying with vouchers from Xmas so not a cash spend
    • Done Quidco and Pigsback Clicks
    • Done Toluna surveys and earned £5 sainsburys voucher
    Tonight I will:
    • Post three more lots on eBay
    • Sort through books to find more to sell on Amazon
    Cheers
