Holiday outside of Europe?

I'm suffering from January blues and a serious case of holiday-booking is in sight!

However my budget is not huge i.e. less than a grand and I want to go somewhere outside Europe, any ideas?

Will be late Summer, August/September when we (me and hubby) go but will also have our 2 year old daughter :A in tow.

Am looking for any advice on destination/booking etc really...

There's been a discussion on whether or not Turkey is part of Europe, at the present time I believe it is not.

September would be better as you're taking a small child. Lots of lovely places to go to suit every taste and every pocket. Not an expensive place to eat.

I would suggest Tunisa, from Manchester 3 1/4hr flight, the beaches are lovely, the country is child friendly, good exchange rate,

I always stay in Hammamet, bout 1 1/4hrs from airport.

Wherever you decide if you can avoid August - summer holiday - come september the prices come down, weather lovely, and theres a lot to do.

Plenty of places to eat - def not expensive x
