Barclaycard has added payment protection - hubby never asked for it

we won !! its taken 13 months and been through f/o services, but within next 4 weeks my hubby will have all ppi repaid + interest ppi caused + 8%, we have just received f/o's letter.......... so glad this whole saga is nearly over

They did the same to me.

They did it once and I complained. They refused to refund the money but cancelled it. They then started it up again some years later without telling me!!

I'm still trying to sort it out.

I am very pleased to hear that you have won.
I did not think that you would win.
I thought there was gross negligence on the part of your husband and some on your part too over a period of about four years.
However none of that entitles Barclay card to do what they did.
I think your posts here will serve two good causes.
It will encourage people who have been similarly treated to persevere and fight for what is right and it will pehaps encourage some to read the small print on the terms and conditios and to check each item on each statement.

Congratulations but I agree that it is ridiculous not to check your statements each month. What if there was fraud on the account?:mad:

This is aimed at everyone by the way OP not just you as I am sure many many people are the same and don't even look at their statements!
