If your using your own car do you have to pay extra insurance for 'business' use??
I always wondered if the wear and tear on the car and the petrol cost would eat up any money you made. As well as you guys saying its your 2nd job, don't you get hit up for like 40% tax?
you get taxed 22 per cent which is basic rate.
I have business insurance anyway for my main job but you are covered by Domino's business insurance while you are driving for them.DEBT FREE! Sep '08/£9,800 in Oct '06 :beer:0 -

By the nature of the job there's usually regular turnover of staff.

You do not need to inform your insurance company. All of Domino's drivers are covered under their business insurance
I have been working for the company for 11 years. I started as a driver. Its fun, you never know what a night will bring, and if you want to progress you can. 80% of managers started as drivers, as did quite a few franchisees.
Its a wicked company. Driver role is easy cash, minimal effort - you get cash every night for your mileage and then your wages, usually minuimum wage plus (depending on what you can do)
As the company motto, its very much "sell more pizza, have more fun"0 -

If your 2 incomes reach the 40% bracket then you'll have to pay it. So if you earn close to £30k from your regular job and deliver 4/5 times a week for 4 hours then you may be in danger of hitting it!0 -
Hi,
I'm looking at doing something to bring in some extra cash as my business is a bit slow at the moment and things are getting tight. I know it's a bit rockbottom but has anyone done delivery work for domino's pizza company?
I do feel rather stupid about considering this but i really have to swallow my pride to be honest. Any comments gratefully welcome?0 -
Easy work and cheap/free food as well, so you're saving money and making it as well. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0

You'll have to declare it to your insurance company if you're using your own car......0
