She'll only get one pair, up to a certain price (my daughter had a limit of £80 I think, and she would have had to pay the difference for more expensive frames).0

hi
i would advise anyone against specsavers as they are a bunch of scammers who are looking out to steal from us poor customer.
i went there 2 years ago and was really dissapointed even though i thought to give them the benefit of doubt a second time but i must say the staff have no manners to speak with customers and their guarantee is not valid.
the second time i went there last november to purchase some new glasses and to do an eye test since it would have expired in two months time anyway. when i asked the lady if i need to have the eye test before purchasing the glasses she told me i should be fine even though i showed her my prescription which would have expired in two months time. she conned me in purchasing the glasses with my old prescription which foolish me i listen to her thinking she is the expert and knows best.
two month later i went for an eye check up at optimax who told me my eyes prescription has changed.
i went to specsavers in croydon branch near M&S to explain the matter and someone named sean told me his director will call back the next day to see what can be done. i told him clearly that even though i was willing and came prepared to have an eye test last novenber the lady told me it was not neccessary and conned me into buying the glasses with my old prescription.
after many phone calls to speacsavers i was told the director wrote to me and no further explanation was given. after a week not having received the supposed letter i called them again and was informed another letter will be sent out again which mention that they cannot do anything for me.
That was a very good try on their part in stealing from me.
i would advise everyone to stay clear from their too good to be true offer of 2for1 and also many of my friends and relatives has noticed the mannerless staff at croydon branch. my advise is to purchase your glasses online at glassesdirect.co.uk which i'll be doing at a much cheaper price and stay clear from those scammers specsavers0
