new dabs pc help please.

hi everyone, i have just got a desktop delivered from dabs. i have plugged it all in and switch on... it then goes to a screen that is about windows activation and says:
your activation period has expired and is no longer working to use windows you must activate this copy of windows....
i have entered the product key on th side of the hard drive but it doesnt go in just back to this page? not sure if i should put in the recovery disk that came with it as i have no other windows discs.
i have tried to contact dabs but they are all too busy and to check back later.
any help or advice appriciated.

There is normally an option to activate over the phone. Go through that way, you will get a freephone no to call . make sure you have the coa number to hand, normally a sticker on the side of the pc with a large set of numbers and letters, it should be clear it is the 'vista ' number on the label.
