Hi All- thinking of switching my current acc

Hi there,
Am thinking of switching my current account. I currently have a lloyds tsb premier account. it entitles me to a load of benefits that no one ever really uses (apart from AA i suppose) and i pay 25 quid a month for the priviledge.
I want to switch. Only problem is...i have a £1700 overdraft facility. I get the first 500 free then pay interest on the rest. Basically works out about 8 quid interest a month. I was thinking about the A&L premier direct, will they match my current overdraft? My salary is 32.5k per year with a couple of k bonus per year. The OD gets cleared for about 5 days a month then we are straight back in it again. We've had this OD for ages.
Any suggestions?
Anyone reckon A&L will match it? Will give them a ring but if anyone has any better ideas on a better account with cheaper charges then i am all ears (or eyes as the case may be)
