BBC iPlayer

I would welcome advice on the possibility of sending TV programmes such as the BBC iplayer to a TV somewhere else in the House. Along with the equipment required.

You would need to have a PC or Laptop that can output video composite / RGB signals. If you've got that, then use a video cable (or video sender / receiver) to watch on a TV.
Of course, I may just be talking b****cks!

But that would produce no sound from the TV remember.

It is very difficult to do what the OP wants. Also what is iplayer quality like on a screen of 28" or larger? I would guess not that good but still watchable?
  • Sorry to jump on this one but can you record the downloaded program to a DVD and if so using what system?

I just burned the programme I downloaded to a disc and then 'made it compatible' such that it should play on any dvd player but it wont play on th dvd player.

    Any advise?
If only I could stop finding good bargains on this site, I would save a fortune! :rotfl:
  • Family - you can't burn them to DVD - they have DRM (digital rights management) which restricts their use. I've tried removing it, but the quality is effected.
