Bargain booze at Somerfield (Stella & Carling) offer extended

    I got 6 packs of stella 20 x 330ml from asda on the pricematch with somerfields.

    I didnt have a flyer but it was adevertised in the paper so i took that in and they accepted it no probs - they need the items on offer, the price and the terms and conditions including start and finish dates.

    They have a whole pallet of the Carling at my local Somerfields.

    Its the Chelmsford Newlands Spring branch.

    went to Lymm Somerfields yesterday and the beer (they had lots of Carling) was flying off the shelves faster than staff could put it on. It was quite amusing to see people staggering away to the town centre car park under the weight of all the booze they'd bought!
    There was also loads of wine at half price, from the more expensive Rawson's Retreat to Somerfield's own at the cheaper end, plus bottles of french champagne for half price (£9.99). Lots of bottles in the £2.50 (that is, reduced to £2.50) price range. AIf you buy 6 bottles you also get a further 5% off.
    Some of the offers, like BOGOF on Boddingtons multipacks were relating to the saverscheme card holders only.

    Hi,

    Can some1 tell me if the stella offer is still on as i was going to drive to my closest Rochdale about 18 miles away this saturday...

    But it has gone from the websites offers now???

    Please can some1 help.

    Angela, the Board Guides go by what people report and it was reported that this offer was closed (and, I believe, superceded by the wine offer)

    It was the same with the Boots Mediterranean vouchers, several people had reported that it was over.

    However as Somerfield seem to have extended this beer offer it has been restored until it expires again. :)
