Take back all those empty glass bottles of Irn-Bru and redeem the 20p deposits. :)
They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it
  • Get yourself on the list of a market research group recruiter and be invited to give you opinion on different topics.
I have been recruiting focus groups in Nottingham for the last 23 years and we always need a huge variety of people. Typically you'd be asked to attend for a one and half hour discussion of the topic, along with seven other people in either a private home, hotel or research studio, and you'd receive around £35 - £40 (often more in London). This all varies according to the dictates of our clients and the diffculty of the project.
If you're interested and live in Nottingham I could use you; if you live elsewhere I have colleagues who do the same job all over the country and could put you in touch with them. Please PM me.

Or offer cleaning/ironing or car washing to friends/relatives/neighbours in exchange for a few £££.

Or try matched betting, even if your not serious about it, you can easily make a few hundred very quickly (see the gambling board)

I needed some extra income and decided to advertise (Monday) my cleaning services in my local paper and put up flyers in my local shops.
I got a few phonecalls and so far I got 1 job and tonight I go to meet up with someone to see how much cleaning is to be done so if I get this 2nd one I will be getting £95 (tax-free) for 6 hrs (3 hrs each house) of work. :T

I'm hoping to get another cleaning job or 2 on top of that as the weeks go on.

So this option does and can work :)

  • One of the easiest ways to get a few extra clubcard points, is by using the clubcard points recycling. Most new and larger Tesco's have them.

You put your plastic, metal and glass in the hole, adn it gives you a point for every 4 items you recycle ... and you feel like your doing your bit for the planet!

BUT ... If you cut your items up into pieces, like a 4 pint milk carton you could easily cut up into about 3 segments, and take the top off ... thats 1 point for one item ... We've been adding at least 30 points a week to our Clubcard, which doesn't sound a lot, but in the words of Tesco's ... "Every little helps!"
