Right! how scared am I!! the court date is booked for 20.02.08. My O/H and me have been ploughing through the SOA for ages now, just wondered if anyone could help us with the outgoings section.
Is their a 'guide' of how much a couple with no kids can claim for food and bills?
If I include prescriptions, dentist and vets do I have to show that we actually pay that amount or is it enough that we may have to?
We have the basic sky package of 17.00 per month will this be accepted?
Both my O/H and me borrow cars from our parents for work, we however pay the insurance tax and fuel etc can we still claim these?
We are both in very temporary employment, if we do get an IPO, what would happen if we or one of us lost the job or got less hours/less money in the next one?
In section 11 Causes of Bankruptcy, how detailed can it be 'cos I can be very if needed and could I attach some typed sheets.
I have masses more questions but thats enough for now! - Hope someone can help.

Is their a 'guide' of how much a couple with no kids can claim for food and bills? Your bills are your bills and what you pay for electricity/council tax/house insurance is what you put down. £30-35 per person per week is the norm for housekeeping. If you post up what you have we can have a look and check you haven't missed anything out.
If I include prescriptions, dentist and vets do I have to show that we actually pay that amount or is it enough that we may have to? It is enough that you may have to. You may have to prove you have no access to an NHS Dentist. If you only have eye tests and no glasses then a test is £27.50 per annum.
We have the basic sky package of 17.00 per month will this be accepted? You will not be able to claim Sky on your I&E but if you wish to pay for it out of your £99 surplus then that is up to you.
Both my O/H and me borrow cars from our parents for work, we however pay the insurance tax and fuel etc can we still claim these? There is a section on the form that asks if you have access to a car so yes you can claim the petrol etc.
We are both in very temporary employment, if we do get an IPO, what would happen if we or one of us lost the job or got less hours/less money in the next one? If your income goes up or down you notify the OR within 21 days and s/he will make any adjustments necessary. If you don't have the income then you don't pay an IPA.
In section 11 Causes of Bankruptcy, how detailed can it be 'cos I can be very if needed and could I attach some typed sheets. Concise and to the point is better but if you need to add extra then you can.
I have masses more questions but thats enough for now! - Hope someone can help.

Is their a 'guide' of how much a couple with no kids can claim for food and bills? £295 is the max for a couple's food budget. Obviously, your utility bills are what they are and as long as you're not making stuff up then they will be fine. It may be in your best interest to have a look at swapping to see if you can get them cheaper but that's for personal reasons, not budget reasons.
If I include prescriptions, dentist and vets do I have to show that we actually pay that amount or is it enough that we may have to? You will be allowed about £10 per person for prescriptions (I would advise getting a pre-payment certificate if you get more than 1 each a month) and I think it's £13 for dentist/opticians. If you don't have an NHS dentist then you may be able to prove something like Denplan is a necessary expense. I think you can put £20 for pet expenses so if you can include their food in the £295 and just save that for vets fees then you would be better off.
We have the basic sky package of 17.00 per month will this be accepted? Unlikely - as far as I can gather, Sky is never a necessary expense. Bear in mind though that an IPA won't take 100% of your surplus so you can pay for this out of what you have left.
Both my O/H and me borrow cars from our parents for work, we however pay the insurance tax and fuel etc can we still claim these? You would need to declare that you have use of cars that are not yours but I'm not sure on this point. Sorry.
We are both in very temporary employment, if we do get an IPO, what would happen if we or one of us lost the job or got less hours/less money in the next one? It would be reassessed. Don't panic
In section 11 Causes of Bankruptcy, how detailed can it be 'cos I can be very if needed and could I attach some typed sheets. The more detail the better. The more info you provide on the forms, the less the OR will have to drag out of you in the interview. They'll probably just have to clarify some points (I hope this is the case cos when filling in the forms online you get a 4000 character limit. I had to delete some stuff to fit into the limit  )
I have masses more questions but thats enough for now! - Hope someone can help.
Ask away any time. I've not gone BR yet but am planning to do it if/when I get my bonus at the end of Feb. This forum is a lifesaver and has even helped a terminal worrier like myself sleep easier.

Mortgage (Int only) 649 If increased to full amnt would be 940 Are you able to stay on interest only for a bit longer? Its just that it would wipe out your surplus totally if you switched.
 TV 11
Life Ins 90 Is this linked to your mortgage?
