If it's still in warrenty send it back and as suggested in an earlier post make mention of complaints.
No point in going to the trouble of arguing if they find you have opened the case.
Your other option is to ring them explain the problem and concerns you have about thier inability to repair it and ask for your money back...If you paid by credit card you maybe in a better position (so I'm told) to argue this point.
The bigest problem with messing with memory, processor, etc is that unless you can argue (with evidence) you used appropriate methods to remove and replace (anti-static bands, properly grounded) components TINY will do their damndest to get out of the warrenty.Welcome, rogerramjet.

            Hurrah!
the system reloaded in 5 minutes flat last night and the machine is now behaving itself.
I think that Rogeramjet might have been right with his over heating diagnosis as yesterday was much cooler.
I think that I will invest in a more powerful fan to go in the tower and get techie cousen to fit it for me next time I see him.
Thank you all so much for your time and words of wisdom, they calmed me no end as I was just about tearing my hair out and sick with the idea of having to deal with Tinys 'customer' services department again.
Thank you *BIG HUGS ALL ROUND*0

I'm just after sorting a Tiny Pc.
To gain access to add a stick of memory, I had to remove the cd ide cables.
For some amazing reason they GLUE THESE to the motherboard connectors.
Removing it , I damaged the cable. It's almost impossible not to..
Because the space is so tight (about 1.5cm) between the PSU and the back of the cd drives, you have to take off the front panel of the machine,
unscrew the drives, move them out, plug in the new cable (after temporarily
unplugging the drives' power cables to gain access),
move them back in again & fasten down the drives again,
put the front panel on again, plug in the ide cable to the motherboard...
Oh and somewhere in there, I added the memory..
All because Tiny glue their cables in..0

            LMAO!
That sounds about par for the course with stupid, stupid Tiny!
Never again, next time, I get one built.
I'm pretty pleased that I didn't have to battle to see if it was the memory in the end cos that sounds like a flippin' nightmare.0

My son had a tiny pc and when he was bought parts for a new one he took it apart to upgrade it as a christmas present for my daughter. We had to cut a plate off the back of the PCI slots with a hacksaw as they had rivetted one on to stop access to the extra slots. The IDE cables and I think the Floppy cable were stuck on with some sort of silica rubber which we managed to get off.He installed w2K on it without the tiny extras and She is still using it 18 months later. 0 My son had a tiny pc and when he was bought parts for a new one he took it apart to upgrade it as a christmas present for my daughter. Grrrr!
well, at least the stupid thing now boots, but it also keeps freezing too.
Tried to upload XP SP2 and it kept crashing, tried to install SpyBot SD and it kept crashing.
I gave up and went to the Pub instead!
Could this all just hark back to Memory?
It seems to be really slow too, it takes ages (compared to last week) for the system tray to load up.
*sigh* I am not a happy bunny about this.0
