I am soooo :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:
I just booked a one way flight for my mum to come and visit from Belfast to Edinburgh with EZ.
Having used the flighchecker and checked all the other airlines, EZ were the cheapest. After I hit the confirm button a screen popped up saying they were selling 1000s of seats at £10 including tax. Naturally, the flight I had just booked for £40 is available!!! ARRRGHHH..
This isn't on the front page of the site and didn;t come up when I ran a search> What is the point of telling someone AFTER they've booked!
I was going to phone and complain, but their contact number is 65p/minute!
Is there any point in emailing/writing? Or should I just write it off? It's just infuriating that they don't advertise it - it's a special web page called https://www.easyjet.com/january or something.
V angry.
Sorry for the rant everyone.

Awww how frustrating!!!
Dont let it get to you too much, anyhow the flight you wanted probably wasnt one of the ones at a £100 -
That's the worst thing they were!
The same flight! I'm just off the phone and they were trying to pass it off as a marketing thing!
"You've been such a good customer, paying over the odds for this flight .. we decided to tell you you could have had it for a tenner!"
"But you can book another flight for £10!"
Guess what - I don't NEED another flight .. I just BOOKED the one I wanted off your stupid brain-dead website!
not very effective marketing .. just made me FURIOUS :mad:Self-building fund : £4259

Hi Jack ( not to be said on the flight :rotfl:)
Sorry to read your rant. But learn from your mistakes.
Had you done a search on this forum for Easyjet you would have seen:-
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=677419&highlight=easyjet
So always do a search before making a booking to check any possible savings etc. Easier than having an apoplexy afterwards;)You don't stop laughing because you grow old, You grow old because you stop laughing" Large print giveth - small print taketh away. "0 -
I know, I know.. any other time I would have, but I was in a rush to get to a meeting.
That's partially why I'm so mad. A big kick up the bum for me.
Ah well.
