Hi I'm currently using open office but I would like to import external data using the web query function as per excel but it doesnt offer this option.
Is anyone aware of any open source software that does?
Thanks in advance

Hi
On the insert menu is "Link to External Data" That form asks for the URL for either internet or a local address to the source document.
A box below gives the available tables/ranges
And finally a tick box for the refresh rate.
You may not be able to query the data externally but you can insert your external data to a sheet and then quiery that sheet ...
