    Get some gorm.
  • What i do is find the models of the items i want, then just search google.
  • I buy the best I can. They last longer, run quieter, do a better job in a faster time and can take less energy. Depends on what you want and the space you have really.
New models are quite something else with digital touch controls.
There is new and s/hand markets and ex-dem models. Style and colour schemes to match your requirements. Goolge a while, you dont say where you are but the markets are all over the country.

What brands do you want and what brands dont you know about?

I've recently had a couple of good deals from a company buywise in banbury - they've a website appliance2you.co.uk - I was pleased with their prices and service - but like security man I'd search google as well to check they were the best deal.

Leb, I don't where you live, but I know that the Hotpoint (Merloni) factory has an onsite factory shop. It's in Peterborough and sell all white goods branded Hotpoint or Indesit.

I bought an under counter fridge from ther for about £50 a few years ago that was retailling for £300 at the time. It was declared B grade stock, but it had nothing wrong with and came fully packaged as an a grade one would, with full guarantee too.

Luckily for me, it fitted in my car so I could get it home. I also picked up an electric cooker for £75 in 2006, that was also retailing for abour £250.
Hoping this year is better than the last. :)
