My brother just bought a house recently, when I say house I mean a shell of a house.
He is in the process of doing it up himself and has done the central heating and re-wiring all working well and good.
Now however he is starting to look at bathroom suites, kitchens, bedroom's, sofa's and all that sort of thing.
He is not rich and has very limited funds so what would be the best way to get the stuff he needs without blowing the bank?
I suggested he should go somewhere like Ikea and buy the whole lot from them, therefore getting them to do him a good deal?
Is this a good idea?

On the subject of Ikea, can I mention that you can now order online from their website! :j
Actually, that's not strictly true, because they don't deliver everywhere in the UK - you have to use their postcode checker to see if you can.
(I'm happy 'cos they can deliver to me! :T )

Look for B&Q credit notes for sale on ebay. If you're spending big sums anyway on things like bathrooms, the savings can really add up. I bought a credit note worth £570 for £480 and it was accepted in payment without question.0
