I have found myself doing the same :o And I'm sorry, but getting up at 3?! 3am????

Yeah! 3AM is a groovy time. Nice & Quiet, no kids, no wife, just me, the dog and a slice of pie. Finaly found a good use for my insomnia. Since I was a kid I hardly sleep, can go days without it. I used to get up so early on the farm long ago as well, so I tend to wake every hour on the hour and if Mrs Jim is snoring its like one of the tracks and return to Nod is impossible so I get up.

Have done 5 quickies before bed - terrible Hip Hop tracks and one very lousy Dance/Techno track that the artist had labelled as Acoustic/Hip Hop, it never was. For about the first time ever I had to switch one track off. I'm no prude but the string of utter filth that spewed out from this youth was beyond it. Every swear word I ever heard and a few that might have been new ones. If theres cudos in hip hop for how many times you can squeeze F MF C N D T and B into 3 minutes this boyo took the biscuit. I summed up his work in Latin. I wonder if he can decipher it. Filth, pure filth. Suppose it makes a change from drivel. Verbal D. I just dont want that in my house, nasty.
  • I have just joined Slice the Pie in order to get a few more pennies. Well, I am up to the grand total of 9p so far for reviewing 3 songs :rotfl: I don't know what to write though hee hee. There is only a generic room and I ended up reviewing a hip hop song - don't like hip hop. I am a indie/rock chick at heart. Oh well, perhaps I will get the hang of it.

STP is good to encourage people to put personal opinions aside and judge how well they think the song does in it's genre.
I'm not a fan of Hip Hop either but I know a good Rap track when I hear one :)

Anyone else getting a bit bored of all the dull soft-rock with male voices?

A good start to the song setting a strong beat and creating a lively atmosphere. Although slightly repetative the difference in timings of the 'la's' more than make up for this. My only criticism is that the song is a little short. Perhaps some de's and some da's would give the song more depth and emotion. 9/10. :D
