What things do they like you to write in your reviews in order to go up a star? I'm finding it hard as I don't like the music i'm listening to so have nothing to say about it - other than i hate it and it makes my headache much worse! I don't mean to be so harsh but its hard when you don't like a track.

How do i get into a Rap/Hip hop/RnB/ soul room? I feel i'd be able to rate that much better as i listen to it so often.

    Thanks everyone!

    hi all

morning everybody hows evrybody getting on , im now slowly crawling my way to 100 tracks currently at 63 and rising , feels like that sometimes we all should be r+b hip hop and rap scouts as there are a hell of a lot of tracks that all sound the same

but what the hell im making money from it :T

Actually, without wanting to spoil anyones fun or prospects. I was kind of pleased to see in the slicethpie newsletter that there will be a little break before the next room opens. I find this quite addictive and spend too many hours at it - a two or three day enforced break wouldn't be any bad thing. I find I'm worried the room will shut before I reach my target so just keep on going.

I totally agree, I'm enjoying it and like you some of the dance tracks have hit the spot. But I only get the chance to play early morning and mid afternoon so lucky to get more than a couple of hours in. Had I the chance I would be at it four or five hours a day but then I guess I'd be on autopilot.

don't worry amy, it will come back, it seems to be a bit of a glitch, other people are losing them but they always come back soon! think it's something to do with when they are updating the stats.

Hayley, the next room will open when the current one closes, probably the middle of next week as there's usually a couple of days off in between.

How many lines does everybody normally write about a song? I write about 2 or 3 - is that enough?
  • I've just reviewed a track and was the 45th person. At this rate, this scout room will only have been open for 2 weeks. Intrigued by the newsletter:-
You Scouts have excelled this week with over 60,000 reviews in the past 7 days, smashing all previous records. As a result the All Genres 2 Scout Room will be ending early next week and there will then be a scouting break of a few days when we hope to introduce you to a whole new activity on Slicethepie - and yes, there is money involved...

    Any ideas?

I would quite like a change from the generic Eurovision type stuff I've been getting lately. Techno/Dance/Electric anyone?

I could do with listening to more metal, that's the stuff I like! It's terrible when some are all so samey, I end up writing not much but then there's not much I can say about it!

  • Morning all :j

Gilligansyle i asked someone on the stp forums they just said that when they wrote to slice the pie to ask what it meant the people at stp said only that they were *bringing in some interesting changes*
I presume that whatever it is will run along side the scout rooms
