I'm going insane with slicethepie, i only recently joined and have reviewed over 200 songs and got 3 stars which is finally a paid spot. I have the hang of everything, using the whole spread, writing good, long reviews but i just can't get a decent accuracy! At the moment I am teetering on 2 stars at 82% and i keep rating between 3 and 7 mostly (not always) but it just goes down and down! These people with 99% must know something I don't. Does anyone PLEASE have any tips? What kind of songs do people rate high and low? Any tips? Thanks. x0

I havent done slice the pie in ages.
tried doing some reviews today as its toooooooooooooo warm to be in the garden...lol..
anyway... have they changed their set up or something, as i cant get any of the tracks to play?Work to live= not live to work0 -
I don't really fancy reading this entire thread!! I've only reviewed 26 tracks so far and just got up to 2 stars. Is it a number you have to hit to get to 3? Can you then be demoted again? What on earth are the vouchers for? I'm slowly going through the FAQs but they're all artist related, I don't really want to start this trading business but I guess I'll have to with vouchers?Trev. Having an out-of-money experience!
C'MON! Let's get this debt sorted!!0 -
The FAQ's will tell you what you need to know. I'd also recommend reading the Slice the Pie forums because the questions you are asking are asked over and over again there.
Invariably the thread will start with "New to the site" or "Just had a couple of questions".
Anyway, I wouldn't look at it as a way of making any decent money. If you want to invest in the artists then go for it, but the amount of work you have to put in is way out of proportion to the actual return you will get.
You might realistically make £10 a week if you're willing to review for at least 2 or 3 hours a day, every day.
Anyway, I left the site a while back after the last lot of financed artist contracts hit the exchange.0 -
Links to the FAQ are at the bottom of every page and in the forum signatures of a lot of users.

woo i joined slicethepie today, and have made £1.15 already. I'm really confused though as I hopped up to 2 stars and now I am back down to 1 star?"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that!"0

Just search their forums for "spread". or look for the site called "piewatch". it'll explain it all.
i gave up on the site a while back. once the sales figures for a lot of the artists were released, everything just tanked.
i had £70 quid invested in someone which gave me a return of £5.50 ..0 -
Things dont seem to be going so well at Slicethepie (see their Forum). Accusations are flying around calling it the "BIG STP CON".
Be aware!!0 -
I had some contracts the the prices slumped almost immediatly they went on the trading board . STP emailed and said they are closing the trading and purchased all the contracts at 50% premium, so got 8p a contract. Can'g cash it out as not have £5 in there.Survey earnings total 2009 £417, 2010 £875, 2011 £5740
