wooo, on target. but still can't get to four stars.0

it's taking me about 2.5 hours a day. But i can watch tv at the same time and do chores so its not as bad as it sounds! better than having no money next month because i'm making up for this month.
I keep a record of my marks in notepad, and write whilst the minute is playing. The I copy and paste and i make sure that my spread is even.
Anyone know how you get four stars? it's not writing more i dont think, as i tried this and got nowhere.0 -
how many songs are you managing in that time though ? i'm genuinely interested.
just a word of warning though - cutting and pasting will likely get you banned if they're checking on review quality.
and you're not being particularly fair to the artist either because i've heard many, many songs on that site that don't really get going until around the 1 minute 30 - 2 minute mark.0 -
Why would cut and paste get me banned? It allows me to be more thoughtful and write more starting before the minute is up. I probably listen on average about 1 min 30.
Sorry, can't be bothered to work out how many i'm reviewing, but its 6p a track and 2.5hrs work.0 -
Why would cut and paste get me banned?
Let's say you have a song that starts off and the vocals don't come in until the 2 minute mark - i've had many of these.
You write a 'thoughtful' review about this nice instrumental tune you're listening to and then paste your review into the box anywhere between a minute and a minute thirty seconds and move on - completely unaware that the song has vocals.
The artist reads the review and gets quite annoyed because you've written a review for an instrumental and their song clearly has vocals. The artist reports your review to STP, which they're entitled to do. STP investigate and look at the times your reviews are submitted.
If they feel the majority are submitted too quickly, you'll likely be banned.Sorry, can't be bothered to work out how many i'm reviewing, but its 6p a track and 2.5hrs work.
When you start scouting, the number of reviews you've done is right under your star rating. It would just be a matter of writing that number down when you start and then when you finish, subtract the start number from whatever number of reviews you've done. Would take about 2 seconds0 -
I only have a short amount of time to do the reviews as i like to do them when my daughter has a nap. But thinking about it, you're right. I'm going to put more time and effort into giving better reviews! damn you!0
