I keep getting all the tracks from one artist one after the other in the scout room - why!?

Not been on here for a while, but it seems a little less well run than it did!

i hate to say it, but i think there's a definite point where STP started going downhill and that's when a certain website recommended it as a "top money making website" and a certain person quoted all of the old payment rates.

since then, the amount of work they've had to put in to basically stop people using it as a "money making website" is ridiculous.

i've just given up on it completely now - i had to cash in my edward bell contracts because i needed the money sadly, but other than that I just don't scout over there at all.

Probably true jason, but the music is still there if you want to listen to it and rate it, if that's your priority.

Anyway, you were one of the moneymaking hordes weren't you? I remember lots of posts about how the money you made covered your phonebill...

Yeah, i admit i'm guilty in that respect, but I was actually there before he made the recommendation.

But then I also did invest in people as well for my sins, so I can have a bit of a whinge

an income from scouting is impossible now.

you could, to a degree, earn a regular amount last year. As has been said, I regularly withdrew about £25-£30 per month to cover my mobile bill.

you'd have to do 20 songs a day to earn £1, and you've have to guarantee you stayed on 3 stars for that whole time.

so if you wanted to earn £10 a day, do the maths.

I've just come back to this after a long while off, Just doing it to fill some time in future, and will more likely use them as an investment opportunity for the vouchers I receive rather than the cash, which is harder to come back to now.

you dont need an invite, just need 3 stars or more at midnight when the stats are updated, or certainly thats how I got in.

Hehe .. no. I signed in about 5 minutes ago and it's the first time i've actually logged in to the site in about a week.

Anyway, the last time I scouted I was on two stars so i wouldn't get in anyway. But then curiosity might compel me to earn another star just so i can check it out.

Might be a go-er actually - just had a browse of the forum and it appears the room is attached in some way to a label, as people have had tracks by the saturdays, keane, girls aloud e.t.c...
