I have been trying to sign up to slice the pie. I get into to the website but when I go to the sign up page, I cannot get a connection. Is it my browser, IE, or something else? Any advice would be appreciated.

I joined yesterday and got through about 30 reveiws, still on one star and have a 77% accuracy. I want to get a load done tonight too... interesting site!

I did .. i had £19 quid's worth of vouchers which I piled in about a week before he made it.

I think with the way things are going, this transaction will probably be my last involvement with the site - if I get a good price for the contracts then i'll sell them.

I scouted for a bit the other day and quite enjoyed it, but I think if this new algorithm that is being talked about on the forums becomes a reality then I can't really see me being able to continue reviewing. Most of my reviews are overly similar because that's just how they are - if i like a song, i'll say so. If I don't like it, i'll also say so.

It's a shame in a way, but then I guess STP had to tighten things up because they're not a cash machine ..

I've read through the FAQ but I can't see the tips on scouting. I saw someone mention a list of buzzwords to avoid, where is that?

Also, how long will it take before I start gaining stars?

You have to do about 50 reviews before you start earning money, but the way the site is structured at the moment you'll be doing a huge amount of work for very little return.

Thanks jason. I'm not too fussed about the earning money, I'm enjoying reviewing the tracks and it's helping me improve my vocabulary! I've just got up to my second star at 27 reviews though which has made me happy

if you're doing it just for the music then you'll probably get more enjoyment out of it.

i've just been so used to people going to the site just to earn money (thanks martin ...) it's almost a default response now

Can someone tell me how this works please. Was a regular STP user, reviewed over 4000 songs. Haven't been on for about 3 months, logged in today accuracy 91% review 1 song go from 3 star earner to 1 star v earner. Accuracy goes up to 92.8% still a 1 star v earner after 20 songs. Now reviewed 21 songs accuracy dropped to 87% and now up to 3 stars again and earning 5p a song!!! HOW?
