  • I've just signed up for the site earlier today. How many reviews on average does it take to get to 2 stars? Because I'm on one star and stuck in the 24/7 room so I'm only earning vouchers. It would be nice to know how long I need to do this before I see any return. I've only done 14 reviews so far, my accuracy is 78.07% and my ranking is 16541st. And I'm doing nice long reviews, on average about 3 or 4 lines or so.

kayleigh, read back through this thread a few pages and you'll find all your answers and much more info as well.

read the forum on STP as well for more info.
  • So, in other words, everyone else is having the same problem and I should keep going and see what happens. That's seems to be what I'm getting from earlier in the thread. It's just annoying though, I'd hoped I'd be doing better by now.

It's not a "problem", it's part of the whole process at the website.

you have to be patient and be willing to put in the work and keep reviewing.

people can get to five stars on as little as 1,500 reviews.

Ghostmadlittlemiss, The first £5 or so that you earn will be in vouchers and goes towards financing a band. THe rest is cash as long as you keep up your percentage accuracy; 78% is quite low so you need to work on it. Make sure you use the whole spread of ratings from 1-9 (you can use 0 adn 10 of course but they dont happen often).

By the way, the site worked fine for me last night between about 10pm and midnight. Seems the glitch was earlier in the evening.

Yeah it was me who cleared most of that glitch actually - the zero minute and short songs had clogged up the scout room, so once i'd rated them it seemed to clear everything up for everyone else.
  • ive just joined this site last night an have only listened to 34 tracks so far,so im still on the vouchers, but im actually really enjoying it so im not to bothered!..one thing i dislike,is hearing a truly dreadful song and beinh honest enough to rate it low-it then takes almost 2% of my accuracy rating!! grr ! lol but im really grateful i found SLP on here! so thanks MSE!! i can always do with some extra cash, even if its only a fiver!!

How does that work? I thought the least-rated tracks came up first so if it was only you rating them they'd still be low-rated and come up for me, wouldn't they?

Argh, after that horrible glitch earlier it keeps throwing up the same errors at me. 'How does that help the artist? You have used a greater than average number of long words'. I have to vary my words otherwise it tells me it's only 3 words different from a review I've done in the past. Which isn't suprising as there is only so many ways I can dress up 'generic uninspired rap' after 4 months! I really don't get how long words are bad, new system is madness.
