I had this problem as well. You need to change your security settings. Go to internet options>advanced scroll down to the security section and tick the box that says 'use TLS 1.0'. That should sort the problem out for you.

Just done an hour. Had a right mixture of tracks only went down to 2 stars once but the next track got me back up again. Am finding ill right a poor review as the song really is rubbish in my ears but then i cant rate it too low as then my rating goes down

that's a "feature" of STP - many people upload commercially available songs for a 'goof'. I've had songs by Cascada and Elvis before - the rule of thumb is to rate them zero.

I didnt know it was Adele, I dont really know her stuff, and I liked the track so gave it an 8, then it came up with the name.

that's the thing - i had a song the other night that was a cover version of "like a rolling stone", and as cover version's aren't allowed either, I rated it a zero and i lost 2.5% accuracy and a star.

115 people before me must not have realised it was a cover .. :rolleyes:

if something sounds overly familiar, i tend to google a chunk of the lyrics and see what comes up.

The accuracy thing is beginning to get me down. I'm playing tennis with my third star constantly here - gain it, lose it, gain it, lose it...

There's a lot of grumbling on the forums. I hope STP will address it soon - if you've got a constantly open room, with new tracks constantly being uploaded (as they say, potentially tens of thousands of tracks) then rating accuracy will go out of the window. For example, I've just been the first person to review a track, and lost a whopping 4% accuracy in one track.

Oh well, that £100 looks and AWFULLY long way off now:rolleyes:

I had an elvis one once, didn't recognise it as Elvis, rated it 6!
