  • it's a catch 22 situation for me there really - i enjoy listening to new music and primarily that's the reason i'm there, but in the past couple of months i've come to find the extra money incredibly useful in covering my mobile bills and virgin cable bills.

i guess ultimately i'll just have to continue to assume worst case scenario that i'll be stuck on 2 stars and i'll just have to scout more to cover the shortfall.
  • Invest in what? For them to progress to get signed?!!

I ain't doing this for nothing its an annoying process at times.

Although I like how you can now select what genre of music to listen to.

Please can an 'old hand' explain?

Well its been a while since I've been on STP and I'm loving the new site after 5 reviews I've gone up to 4 stars from 3. I like that I can see what I've earnt, rating and my star level straight away.

Really need to stay on now for a few weeks to earn some cash for christmas weekend away. And as my son is on school camp next I should be able to get on quite alot.

  • hi i've been reading over the slice the pie conversations and it sounds really interesting especaily as im in need of making money - just finished my seasonal job so got none - is it good? whats the most anyone has made? do they really pay it to you? ive been on the site trying to join up but everytime i click on sign up it just keeps saying page unavailable  what am i doing wrong? would love to join and see if i can make any money. thanks
  • is it good?

If you like lots of different types of music, yes.

whats the most anyone has made?

The top scout on there has made over £1,000 but that took a year to make.

If you can get to 3 or 4 stars, a goal of £25 per week is very achievable, but you need to commit around 2-3 hours a day and review at least 50 songs to get that.
do they really pay it to you?

They really do pay you :)

If you put in a withdrawal request on, say, saturday then the money arrives in your paypal account on monday usually.
    what am i doing wrong?

it may well be a glitch - they've only recently re-launched the site so it might be something they're currently working on.
