I really can't wait for this room to end! I've only reviewed about a quarter of what I did in all genres rooms, it's so hard to find anything to say about a beat that last for a week!

  • Do you think that the length of time you spend listening to a track effects your scout star rating?

    Hi Lorne, welcome to STP

Check out the Scout Room Forums on STP, there are a million threads on everything about reviewing from, how to review, how to increase accuracy, how level up your stars and useful feedback from the artists about what not to do.

Only thing you have to remember is that there is a person behind your review and they deserve at least some thought so reviews ideally should be a few sentences, 3 - 4 will do and try to make your review consistent with your score so dont be all "thats great, wonderful, brilliant" and then give them a 1 out 10.

If your in it to make money then its slow and hard but if you let yourself get into the music you'll be lvl'd up and earning without noticing. At some point you will get tired and bored and when you do don't give in to just banging out rubbish short reviews, just stop and have a break, even if that break lasts a week or more..

Thank you very much for the advice!

  • Ive tried to Pie and managed 2 tracks. That makes a grand total of 3 in this room! I just cant review the dancey dancey stuff. I hate listening to it and cant think of anything positive to say. Oh well, a Pie break will probably do me good for the next room anyway :)

I would prefer that - dance type is my least fave music.

I had yesterday and today off work as holidays and ways planning to do some scouting but I got struch down with that virus and i've been bed bound since Wednesday.

Gonna have another go of it tonight so i'm entertained until Torchwood. Any idea how many tracks are in the scoutroom?
