Can someone please help me? I've just registered on the Slice the Pie website to earn some money, and when I tried to scout a message appeared saying 'Your 'Record Label name' needs to be set in the 'Member Profile' area, before you can enter a scout room. Please click the link below to do this'
What do I do? I don't have a record label! Am I doing something wrong?
    Thanks

you just need to go into your settings and it will ask you for your record label, this is jsut something you make up yourself (i think) a bit like a username etc.

Thats all i've done and i'm having no problems now....hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. Also, is there any way to quickly check your balance? When I want to see my scouting profile I click 'view scouting history' and am taken out of the scouting rooms and then have to go through the t&c etc to get back.

And I can't find anywhere on the Slicethepie site examples of good reviews or what should and shouldn't be included. Am I missing them or are they not there?

Also (sorry), do other people write 'I think', 'I liked' etc or try to keep it general? (for example, 'some may not like the offensive language' or 'I found the language offensive')

    Thanks
  • Willis the only way to check your balance is to come out of the room- i know how annoying it is but there is no facility that gives you a running total

There arent any review examples really its trial and error theres a sticky at the top of the forum that i put together that mentions things that most peple include in their reviews as well as words for describing things as well

I write from my own perspective so its always, i like, i thought, i feel for me and if im saying that i dont think other people will like its i'll say something along the lines of- some may not like it, or i dont think it will appeal to the masses etc

    Hope this helps

I just signed in and found that I've reviewed 2008 tracks.
    Made me smile.

I'm new to slice the pie, can anyone answer a couple of questions for me please?

    - what sort of things are people commenting on? I feel that my comments are very repetitive
    - how long did it take to move up the stars?
    - any advice for a newbie?

    Thanks, Lorna
Thanks for the advice Martin! :money:
