Its 100 for 3 stars normally but if you've been doing really short reviews for a while thats probably messed up your statistics, or something...its pretty hard to tell how it all works!0 -

Accuracy is rubbish.
Accuracy is how well you match up to how other scouters have rated on the stars for the tracks. So to get the best accuracy you gotta be voting like everyone else.....safe bet, vote between 4-6. Saying that you will get told off for doing so.
Best plan: Ignore it, the whole system needs revamp because it just doesnt make sense, you can write great reviews and mark accoring to how good you think the track is-but if it doesnt match the majority then you are fooked as far as accuracy is concerned...
My advice-don't go into Slice for the money! A paper-round pays more. But go into it if you are into music and upcoming/unsigned talent and..... sod the accuracy! saying that good accuracy does just come to some people, but I wouldn't suggest trying to cheat it to anyone.0 -

Not trying to cheat anyone - just wondering why accuracy seems to be important given that music is all about personal opinion. Seems a strange way of doing things.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
I argree with you Grass Stained Feet, i only do this as somthing to pass the time as my partner works shifts and i can listern to tracks while doing other things on the computer, the money isnt the main reason i do this, just just a very little bonus!0

I know, i think that too..
But i dont think people are going to tell the truth and mess it up, because at the end of the day its a bit more money for people..0 -

Well, its because they're not asking you for just your personal opinion, you're supposed to consider whether it would sell records as well. A scout in the real world might see a band that they personally think are derivative rubbish, but still sign them up because they think they'll sell.0 -

Sorry, I didnt mean you were, I just mean some people try and work out how to increase their accuracy and then cheat the system.
Im the first one to stick my hands up and say I did it!
I got up to 92% but then I got bored of myself and saw sense! im now on 90%....I wonder how low I will go! Its very uncool of STP if you ask meit is strange....I agree with amazingduck as to why it is like that. I just dont think it works, if everyone was just honest, you could see the actual realtime commercial value, by just looking at the honest ratings.... instead of ordinary people trying to judge what other ordinary people would or wouldnt buy!
