Well I cant work due to an injury and illness so do not have an income of my own. I do the STP thing while I am on here doing other stuff as I would normally listen to the radio during the day. Its nice to have a bit of extra spending money. I have only been on it during the day, get to a fiver if I can then I leave it. If my OH is working in the evening then I might come back for a while but only if I havent reached the fivers worth.
  • so how many songs have people reviewed on here then?

How long has it taken you to get there?

How much time do you spend on doing this?

260 tracks since the 15th of January, but that includes a week without a scout a room.I tend to do it while browsing ebay or entering competitions so sometimes my concentration isn't great and I have to listen to tracks twice which probably wastes a lot of time.I don't do it every day,I find I can't scount after a drink LOL. I always write enough lines so the little console starts scrolling. Currently 3 stars, 91.12% accuracy and scout position 59 I think,I closed the facebook page without looking properly LOL

  • dont think I have come across asswad yet - looking forward to that experience.
    STP Stats 7/2/08 - £7.05 - 164 tracks reviewed - accuracy 92.3% - Average Rating = 5.4 and ***

Yes me too lol. I had the Fridges of Uganda again this afternoon. I put in that I though it was a waste of time and tried to enter it and it came back with a message saying the band would expect a bit more or something on those lines so I just added again how awful it was until it let me enter it.

LOL I just tipped their song based on Thriller for a laugh.:rotfl: I think STP has finally made me go insane, but I have done my £1 for the day in one more reviews time so am leaving for the afternoon.
Does anyone else have problems with their watchlist not showing all their artists that they have listed?I'm sure I put more tracks on my watchlist than is actually there.

Do bands not want honest reviews?
If I review first I must be 100% right & if you agreed with me you would be too!
    CONFUSED.. you will be!!

STP's system is very confusing. For example, I recently found out that your scout position is based upon the number of start and your accuracy, not just your accuracy as I previously thought.

I think bands do want an honest review of their music, although I do think some of the songs are on there just to scare some people away from STPing (asswad/fridges of uganda);):D.

I think one of the reasons your accuracy changes all the time is that as more reviews are added, the mean review score changes, so your accuracy to that score will also change (probably not by very much though).
  • Bands probably do want honest reviews, but STP seem more keen on you judging how something would do commercially rather than just your own taste.

    Hi all - having fun?
Seem to have hit a seam of folk songs - not my genre and a bit hard to think of anything to say about a man with a guitar and a nasal condition. Any ideas?

My first attempt at doing some reviews today in the new room and so far I'm quite impressed. I think my family is starting to wonder about me though as I sit here singing along to a song.... "you're never gonna be my girlfriend" (girlfriend by Snail Mail).

Haven't had any rapping as of yet but I have heard a few great tracks that were from previous rooms
