Hi there
my friend has just changed from a wired router to the one above , the problem he faces that sometimes it says accuring ip address, and just stay on that , this happens on the wired comp and his wireless laptop and xbox 360 , he has tried right clicking and repairing the network, turning the router off, removing the adsl cable , the plugging back in still no luck.
and other times it works ok, when it is working he can not navigate to certain webpages , e.g. the isps website etc.
the router has been setup following the full instructions, i have checked the firewall to see if that maybe the cause but it is not.
thanks for any help

Hi,
I had a similar problem which turned out to be my PC trying to connect to a neighbours network.
Go to network connections, right click on the network, select properties, select wireless networks, make sure the 'use windows to configure, is ticked, select the advanced button and ensure the 'automatically connect to non preffered networks' is un-checked then close and ok your way out.

nope, none of the default router settings have been changed, only info that was entered into router was username and password from isp and to set up wpa.0
