Hi all,
I am thinking of booking a half term break to Pontins at Brean Sands as they are doing half price deals at the moment.
My question is can anyone give me any of their experiences of this Pontins as I have never been before (to any Pontins) - are there good indoor activitis to do as I have a 1 year old and a 4 year old?
Also are there any hidden costs - I know you have to pay for electricity but how much is it for example?
I would be grateful for anyones opinions - good or bad.
Many Thanks,
Sarah

Hi
I go to Pontins a lot albeit, Prestatyn Sands, in fact we went 6 times last year and I highly recommend it.
I would point out though, this is a holiday camp and not a hotel or fancy apartment. I would suggest that you pay the extra to go in Club Accomodation. they are smarter and the electric is free!! I always pay the extra, you get a microwave (Which you dont realise how much you miss until it isnt there!!) toaster and kitchen and bathroom packs, but to be honest its worth paying more for the nicer room and the electric.
Other than that there are no extras. Have a try but perhaps just try with a 3 night break first!!
Good Luck and Enjoy

Thanks for the advice - we were going to go just Mon-Fri so 4 nights. I shall look into the Club accommodation.0

Hi Why dont you try the Sun deal holidays ? they do all sorts of hols including pontins, haven and butlins for £9.50+elec+service charge and entertainment passes (at certain times) you do have to collect the tokens but usually its a good deal. Its a thought anyway,we are going again this to a haven site.
Or if you just want Brean Sands go through forum to Grabbit site and look for sun deals thread, someone on there will have been to Brean sands pontins and will tell you all about it.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for all your responses. I did consider the Sun hols but thought that Half Term in Feb might not be covered as it's quite soon.0
