I think they are reduced because they are nearing there sell by date!!!!

Yes, the reduced bars in our local Tesco are also dated July 05

Incidentally, I read the link all about the child slave trade, which I found extremely interesting, but it's still not clear to me whether buying Fair Trade products in any way assures that child slave labour has not been used...

Sometimes these are in the organics section. Not that they are organic - they contain flavouring from what I can remember

I have reduced hundreds of these as they are a discontinued line....

Its up to the individual store what price they reduce them to though. I reduced them to 8p

They tend to be at the end of the isles with all the other chocy bars and sweets.

A few are left along with the other sweets but nearly all of them are left in the reduced stand...
