HP L2045w usb posts

Just wondering if any one who bought one of these (HP L2045w) monitor about a year ago, when I got mine has had any problems getting the usb ports workin, I plug a usb device in i.e. mouse/keyboard/pen drive and nothing happens, any info anyone can give would be greatly apreciated.
P.S. Hope i have posted this in the correct place.

  • It might not be immediately obvious but have you connected the monitors USB port - it has a type B (like on printers) via a cable to a free USB port on your PC?
  • Thankyou for the information, no I have not connected it, LOL . I feel like a total idiot now, I didnt see it as it was in the bottom of the monitor, will get a lead today so it should be fine.
    Thanks again, Richard.
