Hi everyone,
My first ever post!
I am wanting to take my girlfriend away for a 1night/2night trip to Venice over the february half term (or a weekend if necessary.. taking either fri/mon off).
I am wanting to see if anyone can suggest some good hotels/apartments to stay at, being a little away from Rialto/St Marks etc) - the ones i hve been looking at are the following:
Oltre il Giardino, Venice
Al Ponte Mocenigo
also am looking at finding best flight prices from Bristol - preferably approx £100 for us both (leaving me another 200 or so for the accomodation) but really struggling....
Any help would be really appreciated!
Many thanks,
Adam

Hi,
We went to venice last february, we travelled easy jet from bristol to marco polo, it was easy to catch the bus for 3 euros outside the airport terminal , we stayed in the Hotel Mestre in Mestre on the outskirts of venice, it was easy to get the train into venice only a few mins away and then the water bus to St. Marks square... Mestre is only a small place but the restaurants were nice there...we booked through First Choice as they had a valentines deal, but it would be easy to book flight, hotel individually,0
