How to FULLY cancel Lovefilm membership?

Hi,

Is phoning the "0800" number the only way of fully cancelling my Lovefilm membership?

In responses to other people querying how to cancel their membership, the suggestion is usually to cancel the Direct Debit. However, when I completed the card details section, there wasn't any indication I was completing a Direct Debit application - the usual bank name and Sort-code details weren't required and the Direct Debit guarantee was absent (I saved screen grabs of my account application for a record of what info. I gave and what info. was given). Also, the Lovefilm charge to my bank account isn't a Direct Debit but, simply, a "Card Transaction".

yep bu phone. then they say it will be completly cancelled within 24 hours' just keep checking it is...
