I bought Microsoft Money at a boot sale for £1.50 It's a 2003 version. Will it be any good for my online accounts? Will I be able to upgrade it from MS?
Thanks
I hope this is the correct place to ask. I thought it a Techie question.

Not sure if you can upgrade. MS have completely given up MS Money altogether in Europe. The last one released was 2005. Most UK bank accounts in my experience don't have much direct online functionality integration with software and require you to manually download your statements and then open/import them into Money etc anyway."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy.0

When and if you install it, make sure you are connected to the internet.
It may need to download a patch.0 -
Ah, looks as if I should have bought the Quicken package for £5! Many thanks for replying.0

Money 2005 so I don't know if 2003 has the same issue.0 -
Money 2005 has one reviews from 2007 at Amazon, and is still available: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0002WV7TO/

About a year or two ago I asked Microsoft UK and they said that not even they'd been told if there were any future plans for Money in Europe so certainly as far as they were concerned MS had dropped Money altogether permanently for Europe. Although recently I've seen one or two rumours about 2008. But the conclusion seems to be if there isn't a 2008 update forthcoming then that's the absolute last chance of any future release. But it's all inferrence and they haven't specifically said there definitely won't be future editions unlike Quicken which I believe made it very clear they're pulling out of the UK/Europe market altogether permanently.
I guess there is MS Accounting (Express) 2008 for the UK but I think that's aimed more at home business rather than personal individuals. Express being the free version, so nothing to lose by trying it out."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

It should work with online accounts assuming your bank supports it
However, best NOT to let it just download from your bank after the intial set up, as the idea IMO is to check your bank account against your real spend, and thus spot a wrong entry by your bank
If you just let it update every time you go to bank ./ credit card etc you will get the error as wellWhen an eel bites your bum, that's a Moray0
